Paul has worked for the Home Office for nearly 30 years, most recently as a manager of a specialist dog team, his time has been spent as a handler and instructor, developing the effectiveness of 'dogs with jobs'.
During his time with the Home Office he has trained various dogs in different disciplines, and been invited to Judge Service dogs up to a national level.
Paul is a qualified instructor, and has also become a Good Citizen Dog Scheme (Kennel Club) assessor for Puppy Foundation, Bronze, Silver and Gold award.
Paul's main aims are about responsibility and care, and this is where he strives to teach pet owners how to promote dogs in society as an integral part of our lives.

Helen has spent the last 5 and half years as an instructor at dogs for the disabled, helping people with disabilities work closely with a dog provided by the charity to help them gain more independence.
Helen has worked as an independent trainer and behaviourist for 14 years helping many people develop their relationships and bonds.
Helen has recently become the youngest person ever to achieve the prestigious double KCAI accreditation for companion dogs and assistance dogs and has also been appointed as the youngest ever board member for the scheme.
Helen's aims are to help animals achieve both physical and emotional balance whilst ensuring that their welfare is of top priority. With a little more help more animals and their families can live in harmony, sometimes this may involve rehabilitation and behaviour modification, but essentially time and patience is key.
Trish has recently left the Prison Service after working for 25 years at various prisons, the last 10 years of which were as a manager within the Service.
Trish has been a pet dog owner for all of her life and has been involved in the training and care of Service Dogs within the home for the last 14 years.
She has assisted at Positively Responsible Animal Services since its formation and also trained her pet dog to Silver level of the Kennel Club Good Citizen Scheme.
As a dog lover Trish feels she now has an opportunity to build upon her knowledge and will be aiming to complete a Canine First Aid course, Understanding your dog and Dog Law seminars. She is also currently undergoing a dog - grooming course.
